All MTA inspection stations have been rigorously checked to ensure that every inspection is done professionally and competently. The MTA Journal was first published in June 1911, and is recognised as NSW most authoritative motor industry magazine. The e-journal is distributed to the 6,000 members of the MTA who employ more than 80,000 people in the motoring industry statewide. MTA members receive a copy as part of their membership. MTA has more than 6,000 member businesses and is growing yearly. MTA Employment Advice is delivered by qualified and experienced Industrial Officers and offers up to date information on new awards and legislation.

MTA offers a wide range of advice on legislation that affects the industry.

MTA is an approved organisation for the security industry if members fit/install/supply motor vehicle security devices.

MTA Members have a high standard of professional conduct and this is reflected in MTA's Code of Ethics.

MTA members are required to abide by the Code and this means that consumers can have confidence when dealing with a business that displays the MTA logo, that business has made a commitment to good service for its customers.

MTA NSW is also a Registered Training Organisation and provides a range of Traineeships and other Vocational Training which is nationally accredited. The training programs can be accessed across metropolitan and regional venues and also at member's workplace. find out more

Automotive Business Brokers has been appointed as the MTAs official business broker, ABB consists of a network of experienced senior executives with vast business experience who have undertaken additional training to help Members with the process of buying or selling an automotive business.
