on the new workplace relations laws.
Seminars and Workshops
MTA will be conducting the above seminars and workshops for automotive industry participants at metropolitan and regional areas across NSW during August and September. The seminars and workshops are directly applicable only to corporations (ie, Pty Ltd entities).
MTA will conduct seminars that provide an overview of the federal workplace relations reforms and subsequent recent amendments. This presentation will be followed by a workplace agreement workshop designed to get employers thinking of their agreement options under these new laws, including whether workplace agreements are an option for their particular business.
Consultation Sessions
MTA will also be offering interested members with a one-on-one consultation session that focuses on the particular needs of the business concerned. These sessions will go for approximately one hour and seek to target business issues and develop workplace relations strategies aimed at improving business operations.
With one-on-one consultation appointments, early visitation priority will be given to those that first request the service – high levels of interest within one region may require visitation delays for some members having regard to MTA resources.
