My name is Ben Braithwaite and I have operated my business B & C Caravan Service in Dubbo for twenty five years.
I would like to bring to your attention the great service provided to my business by Ian Scott, MTA District Manager. Ian has been very helpful over many years, keeping us informed of MTA's support services for businesses such as mine. His latest effort has prompted me to write to you.
Having been absent on long service leave, I had missed the invitation to the latest "New Work Health and Safety Laws" seminar. I would have missed the seminar if Ian had not taken the time to "check" up on why I had not replied, seeing I usually attend. At short notice Ian organised for my attendance. I found the seminar very beneficial and wish to express my appreciation.

To who it may concern
I just wanted to acknowledge the excellent service I received from Ian MTA at Surry Hills. I recently had problems with a motor vehicle I was servicing and needed some guidance. Not only did Ian at MTA demonstrate remarkable knowledge on auto mechanics, he the MTA staff member was the only person I've consulted that actually made sense. His patience and customer service manner was exemplary - whoever he reports to should award him a pay rise immediately!

having been in the automotive repair industry for 38 years as a mechanic and now business Owner you find most people are quick to complain and slow to say thanks, great job or pay
Someone a compliment.
I would like to give Wayde Rushton a big rap and pat on the back for the way he represented Me at a fair trading hearing yesterday ( with the best possible result ).
Without him there I think I would have been dead in the water

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you and the MTA for the continued support you have shown to my business over the past 4 years. One of the reasons for our continued success in the motor industry is largely due to our association with the MTA.
You have always supplied us with accurate and up to date documentation and forms that we required to complete our day to day business. We are always kept up to date with any regulation changes in the industry and we have always received a friendly and professional attitude any time we have contacted the MTA offices.
You should all be very proud of the services the MTA offers to all its members and I very much look forward to a long association with the MTA for many many years to come. Once again, thanks for all your support over the years.

Browns Tyre Service is a family owned business which first opened its doors in 1966. My father Steve Brown became a member of the MTA not long after opening the business and we have remained members ever since.
We found being a member was very beneficial, mainly with industrial award information, help and advice. You just have to ring and any question on industrial relations is answered. Before computers and the internet this was invaluable service to country business.
I would highly recommend that any business in the automotive trade join the MTA for up to date information, an array of services and award information.
I wouldn’t like to run a business without them.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have great pleasure in thanking MTA for the efforts taken to enable members to be more profitable in EFTPOS transactions, by negotiating such a competitive transaction rates with the CBA Bank.
When we first started business in 1984 we were charged 5%, this reduced to 3% and then 1% and now the MTA have outdone this rate not once: but twice for our industry benefit.
If you haven't checked this one out you are missing out.
We have isolated these savings along with previously identified savings in other areas and reinvested these monies in upgrading our plant and equipment.
This networking of effort is therefore very much appreciated and goes to show how every cent adds up and benefits the business, the customer and the industry as a whole. Once again THANK YOU FOR THIlS NEGOTIATED SAVING!
