VALE Keith Gill
MTA NSW Life Member and Past Vice President

The Executive Board, Advisory Council, Members and Staff of the Motor Traders’ Association of NSW (MTA NSW) would like to express their condolences to family and friends on the passing of Keith Gill, a past Vice President of the Executive Board, MTA NSW Life Member and member of the Australian Automotive Dealers Division.
Keith passed away on the 5th July 2025.
Brief Biography
After Keith left school, he got a job as a motor mechanic apprentice, where he completed five years as a full apprenticeship in Ringwood, Victoria and was involved in used car reconditioning.
Keith began his automotive dealership journey in Griffith on August 29, 1966, when he took over JS Vagg & Co, and subsequently opened Keith Gill Motors. His hard work as an Executive Board Member, and his dedicated service to the Association was recognised when he was made an MTA NSW Life Member.
Keith Gill Motors was a successful automotive dealership, which his son Warren, proudly continued after Keith's retirement in 1992 - officially handing over to his son as Dealer Principal in 1994. The dealership was later purchased in January 2018 by the Lanhams Motor Group.
Keith will be fondly remembered amongst many of our long-standing Members.
