VALE Leslie Boaden
Former MTA NSW Member
The Executive Board, Advisory Council, Members and Staff of the Motor Traders’ Association of NSW (MTA NSW) extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Leslie “Les” Boaden, a respected former member of MTA NSW.
Les was part of a proud four-generation automotive family and a cornerstone of the Wauchope business community. His career in the trade began in 1962 when he joined the family business, Wauchope Motors, as an apprentice fitter machinist before moving into the automotive field. Following in the footsteps of his father, Les went on to lead the business, building a reputation for reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy service that became synonymous with the Boaden name.
Established in 1937 by his grandfather Cecil Boaden, Wauchope Motors has been a mainstay in the region for over 85 years, serving the local community with skill and dedication. Les’s commitment to excellence earned him the respect of colleagues and customers alike.
Today, the business is proudly run by his son Michael, who continues Les’s legacy of professional service and community contribution. Les will be fondly remembered by many across the automotive industry and the Wauchope region.
